Yes I'm still alive and kicking, and so is LAFAA. Right now I'm
working on updating the 50 state drinking age and BAC limits paper.
Congress has passed a law that all states most lower their BAC limits
to at least .08 since I made the paper. I'm taking a lot of credit
hours this quarter so I hope I can get it done in a month or two.
I just got an e-mail from someone that thought I would like to read
about this internet article
(http://www.healthreformer.org/newsletter.php?issue=15&article=76).
And I have sent them a letter which I will post in the files section
for all to read who are interested. Basically I said they are a bunch
of hypocrites since they are about living a healthy life yet they say
don't drink any alcohol at all, ignoring the fact that alcohol is good
for you.
On a final note I would be happy for all to send me links to sites
that post miss leading information like www.healthreformer.org did
about how alcohol is completely bad for you no mater how much or how
little you drink. It's these lies that make lower the drinking age
hard since people have been told lies about how bad it is. In fact
any website that has facts about alcohol in a negative view I would
like to see them. I want to make sure they are not restating lies
that have been spreading around.
Happy New Years
LAFAA President,
Anthony Pankala
