Welcome to LACMGS, a private Yahoogroup exclusively for internal communications among Los Angeles County Master Gardeners who've been trained by the University of California Cooperative Extension Los Angeles County Common Ground Garden Program.

MG volunteer Jane Auerbach created & maintains this site under the guidance of Common Ground Garden Program Manager and MG Coordinator Yvonne Savio.

Use this site to share information and opportunities with fellow Los Angeles County MGs, and to access program materials.

MGs may post continuing education opportunities, plant sale announcements, requests for resource information, etc., as related to our MG activities.

Only Yvonne may approve & post volunteer opportunities. Use the form at Files > Forms and email to ydsavio@ucdavis.edu. Also send Yvonne job op postings for approval.

When posting, please sign your full name and use keyword subject headers (with relevant dates & locations) such as:

When posting and responding to posts, the default setting sends it to the whole group. If you want to address queries or replies to Yvonne or other individual MGs, email them directly.

Off-topic posts must relate to our common interest in gardening. Please keep them to a minimum.
