Description

Kentucky Educational Enrichment Network, Inc. is an organization committed to enriching the education and lives of ALL children in Kentucky. We believe this is achieved through providing opportunites for service projects and activities that promote and nurture building a strong character.

K.E.E.N. is a statewide organization that supports other groups and co-operatives in their endeavors. Our activities are open to all these groups. We are an agent for resources and connections for these groups.

This organization is open to all families seeking social, educational, and service activities for their children. We are primarily a group of homeschool families. We realize that there is a growing trend in finding alternative forms of education based on the individual child's needs. We include and welcome members who may have children in a traditional school and children in a home school. We support diversity of education and choice.

K.E.E.N. is commited to being a responsible community service organization that represents the home school community in a positive and uplifting manner. We strive to work towards disproving the negative images some people have towards homeschooling in general.

Our fundamental belief is that it is the right of the family to choose the best course of education for their children, and we should work together to make sure that this is upheld. We do not foster a negative attitude towards any form of education. We all want what is best for our children and firmly believe family knows best.
