Hi Group

 

How would you find out history of Polish serving in Czars Cavalry during WWI and prisoner lists and Prisoner Camps for those captured by the Germans during WWI? Those living in the Kresy at the time would have allied themselves with the Czar.

 

I have been told, that when Poland was controlled by three dominating powers,  around 1914 – 1918, it was common for Polish to fight on all three sides, so that cousins could be fighting against brother or family without knowing. Correct me and inform me.
