Lech, while I applaud your sentiments - and support your advice to people to take disputes off-line direct to the other member, let me correct a misunderstanding you (and others?) may have.

The moderator does not post other members' letters to the group. Members post letters directly. All the moderator can do is encourage group values, or suspend or terminate membership in case of non-compliance.

While it would be possible for me to choose to read all incoming e-mails and decide whether to post them or not, that would take so much time that it would force me to resign from my work responsibilities and become a full-time internet moderator (which has not been a paid position in the least, so far!)

I plead once again for the moderator to not post personal attacks to this
forum. I'm a not in the least bit interested in knowing that someone is
disgusted by the opinions of someone else.

Email addresses are provided. If anyone really needs to express their
vitriol, I would appreciate it if they did so in private email.
