नमस्ते शारदे देवि काश्मीरपुरवासिनि।
त्वामहं प्रार्थये नित्यं विद्यादानं च देहि मे॥
Oh Goddess Sharada (Sarasvati), resident of Kashmir,
I bow down to thee.
I pray to you to give me the gift of knowledge.

Exodus of our community people from Kashmir has been a centuries old phenomenon, and the most recent one in 1989-90 was our seventh major exodus. Whether the reason was seeking greener pastures beyond our green valley, or being forced out by the green brigade, we have always been leaving in bursts and blasts. Advent of internet in mid 1990s has provided us with a unique opportunity to bind our community living in several Diasporas around the world. This e-forum is neither a discussion channel nor an e-magazine. It is meant for dissemination of information to our community worldwide regarding our cultural heritage, religious practices, history and politics, and will be a moderated yahoogroup.
NOTE: This forum is exclusively for the use of Kashmiri Pandits.
