This is meant to be a self-help group to help amchigellis and amchigellos worldwide improve their career prospects.

On the other hand, those of us who need jobs can also send a brief profile to the group and check if any of the other members know of suitable opportunities. We all get to know of Jobs Opportunites within our own companies or have jobs emailed to us or read about them on various job boards. If you are not using them, why not take that extra step of posting it here to help those amongst our lot who actually could use it.

We could then use the various konkani groups to discuss more of konkani issues and not turn them into a job board.

Also these days, some of the larger companies are recruiting through Employee Referral Programs. Such requirements are not advertised nor sent to Employment Agencies. Most of us will not even be aware of such jobs without knowing someone in the company.

And also it is very difficult to Why not use this board to announce your company's Employee Referral Scheme to other fellow konkanis.

List all your requirements in Sales / Software/ Hardware/Administration / Finance, etc. It could be for the junior positions / experienced/ Contract jobs/ and jobs could be India based or abroad and other members of the list could respond accordingly.

Some companies also reward employees for each successful recruit referred.
Although most of you will be referring with the intention of helping fellow members, this will also provide a chance for some of you to earn from your companies!!
