Knox Area Singles Outdoor Events started as a list serv for outdoor enthusiasts from various Knoxville churches/faith communities.

Our aim as a group is to provide a "CALENDAR OF EVENTS" for singles wishing to hike/canoe/bike/raft/camp/spelunk in the company of fellow singles. Members are encouraged to post their upcoming outings well in advance so that other groups can plan around them for minimal conflict. Life is short and singledom may be transitory SO GET OUT THERE AND ENJOY!

Calls to action to protect the Great Smoky Mts (NP plus Cherokee National Forest), Big South Fork, the watersheds of East Tennessee and the air we all breathe are also WELCOME. Please post whatever info you wish from whichever environmental group you belong. If you are anti-enviroment and anti-caring for God's Creation, PLEASE do not join this group!!
