There are a lot of knot tying groups and a lot of Boy Scouting groups, but this group is meant to allow members to post about knots AND Scouting. Many of us never know how much we can post about Scouting to our knot tying groups and how much about knot tying we can post to our Scouting groups, so this group combines the two and allows posting anything and everything relating to Scouting AND/OR knot tying.
The picture to the right is of a Hanson Knot, covering an approximately 1/2 inch slice of 1/2 inch diameter PVC pipe. It is one that I made as part of Troop 33's Neckerchief Slide contest. There were many entries to the contest and choosing a winner was very difficult, I'm sure. I like to think all who participated were winners because the individual scouts' and adult scouters' talents and imagination took over and some wonderful entries were made. : - )
