The Central Florida Chapter of The Knitting Guild Association

Central Florida's Knitting Guild is for all yarn lovers. Meetings are held in Orlando at 7:00 pm on the third Wednesday of each month at the Beardall Senior Center, Room 2D, 800 Delaney Ave, Orlando, FL 32801.

* We are committed to promoting needle arts skills such as knitting, crocheting, and other yarn-related projects.

* In the past we've always been strictly "No Dues". Due to increasing difficulty in the past years with retaining a free meeting space, we have decided to ask for a small contribution to the room insurance fee that is being assessed us. Visitors are completely welcome, and regular members have the option of how to pay, with the possibility of "scholarships" in cases of need.

* Our members vary in experience and age, but all are enthusiastic about learning and teaching more skills.

* We often plan field trips, both locally to explore other yarn shops, and sometimes out of state, requiring a car or plane ride!

* We have an optional dinner at 5:30 pm prior to the meeting. Restaurant locations vary and are posted on our web site along with map directions.
