Welcome to Kalamazoo Homeschool Connection!

We are an eclectic group of families in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area who meet in real life on a regular basis to offer support and comraderie in our homeschool journeys. We are a non-religious, tolerant and fun group who enjoy exploring new horizons in our children's (and our own) education.

Kalamazoo Homeschool Connection exists mainly for the opportunity to share ideas and support in a relaxed setting while the children play nearby (or under our feet!). We are an open group to whomever desires to genuinely share and learn.

There are many religions and lifestyles represented in our group, so please be sensitive when posting anything of a potentially offensive nature. Email is certainly a less than perfect mode of communication, and being clear and compassionate in sharing goes a long way towards keeping misunderstandings at bay.

This Spring/Summer we are meeting on alternating Mondays and Wednesdays for park days, as well as a monthly field trip. Some exciting new things are going on as well: a teaching co-op and a Family Sports Night! There are also Parents' Nights Out and quarterly family potlucks.
