Welcome to the Kaufman County ARES/EmCom Yahoo Group. This online groups is part of our official online program for the public. This Yahoo Group has been created to assist in the furtherance of the Kaufman County ARES program and it's county wide EmCom program.

It is to be used as our message board for Kaufman County ARES program and it will be used to send out automatic reminders of upcoming events.

By having this Yahoo Group, we are attempting to bring together ham radio operators and members of various emergency response groups to work together in forming a more uniform network in Kaufman County. One of the main goals is to assist in creating an agency interoperability plan for all concerned parties.

The Kaufman County EmCom Program (a county level division of Southern Search Rescue, Inc.) is a joint venture between Kaufman County ARES, Inc., Kaufman County CERT, Inc. and Southern Search Rescue, Inc.. The core members of Kaufman County EmCom are the following:
