Welcome to our group of Kentucky (and surrounding states) parents who are raising nurtured children. We believe in Natural & Attachment Parenting. Topics can include gentle births & birth options, non-circ, informed or no vac, breastfeeding, child led weaning, baby wearing, family bed, responsive to baby's cues, cloth diapering, alternative/natural health options, stay at home parenting, gentle discipline, anti-violence, organic clothing, bedding toys & food, holistic health & education, waldorf education, homeschooling, unschooling. While ww strive to be the best parents we can be, we realize that we are human and pefection is not the goal, raising nurtured, gentle, loving children is. I have not found a whole lot of support in this area of the state (Lexington) so I'm starting this group in hopes of networking with others for support. Defy the mainstream, parent gently! Would prefer for religious discussions and the like to stay off list, disagreements can happen, we can disagree respectfully and no flames are allowed!
