This email group is a meeting place for
members of LAPD's Communications Division both past and present.
The list can be used to post e-mail addresses, announcements
(e.g., marriages, births, new employment, retirements, deaths, etc.), gossip, discussions of the "good old days," new "whiz-bang" communications equipment, procedures or whatever else comes to mind.
"KMA367" was the primary
LAPD radio callsign from the late 1940s until the ROVER frequencies came along with "KJC625."
The goal of this list is for all of us
to find one another and stay in touch, after all we are
family.
To join the group, either click on the "Join This Group" link above right, or simply send a blank email to KMA367-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

"KMA367" is not connected in any way to the Los Angeles
Police Department, other than being maintained and/or used by
former and curent LAPD employees and other interested persons. As
an "unmoderated" list, all messages posted here are the
opinion of the persons posting them, and not necessarily of LAPD,
the City of Los Angeles, or anyone else.
