KCMAFA is a group designed for LGBT couples and families in the Kansas City Metro area and outlying towns and cities in Missouri and Kansas. This special group is a forum for couples or singles who are wanting to adopt, foster, or have children as well as couples and singles who are raising children right now. KCMAFA stands for Kansas City Midwest Alternative Families Alliance and is an e-mail list serve to provide the opportunity for connections, play group organization, questions, concerns, community resources, upcoming workshops and events, and most important of all, communication.
