This is a Family Support Group--ALL who have family,friends "over there" & the workers are welcome. I supported my husbands decision but I didn't have to like being without him or the risks involved. Some days & weeks were great & some were hell.


If you know others please let them know about this site.


My husband went to Iraq & Kuwait for a year. He left Jan 2004.
I was in Houston most of the 2 weeks he was there.
I attended the nitely meetings. I have his contract so I know the ins and outs. In Dec 2004 returned with a injury. I have since learned about what happens to American Contractors when they get hurt on the job overseas. A program called DBA kicks in. (Check the files for info)
My husband has decided not to return & is back to work here in the states.
