Description
The ACADEMY OF KAPAMPANGAN POETS is a department of ANASI. It is a guild of writers whose inclination, interest and passion center around Kapampangan poetry-writing. It aims to develop in its members the talent in the art of writing Kapampangan poems. Both experts who have already carved a niche and novices who are just starting out on this as a hobby are encouraged to join. It is basically for those who have a penchant for writing Kapampangan poetry. It is hoped that through this endeavor, the Academy would be able to help in the development and intellectualization of the awesome Kapampangan language.
- Ernesto C. Turla - founder and president, AKP
