Description

JungMatters is especially for Australian interested in learning more about the Jungian perspective.

JungMatters is the egroup affiliated with the website JungDownunder, a website established by the C.G. Jung Society of Sydney to enable the various groups involved in Jungian Psycholgoy in Australia to have "cyber home".

The group welcomes discussions with related but differing perspectives, for example, other psychological modalities or religious philosophies (eg. Buddhism), while bearing in mind that this is primarily a site for the disemmination and discussion of ideas and practices pertaining to Carl Gustav Jung and Post Jungian scholars.

Find news about lectures, workshops, seminars and study groups on the archival calendar. Share information about books, journals and their availability. Also discuss lectures you have heard and essays and film reviews you have read.

You will also find links to the JungDownunder website where you will find out how you can join the various Jungian groups throughout Australia. Especially for people with interests in the work of, for example: C.G.Jung, Emma Jung, Marie-Louise Von Franz, Thomas More, Robert Johnson, James Hillman, Erich Neumann, Joseph Campbell, Ester Harding, Sylvia Pereira, John Sanford, Irene de Castillejo, David Tacey, Nietzsche, and so on.

Also for anyone with interests in: the unconscious, alchemy, archtype, archtypal psychology, dreams, dreamwork, the shadow, anima, animus, psychological typing, introversion, extroversion, the four functions, maturation, individuation, fairy tales, Greek mythology, the collective unconscious, astrology, anthropology, the Self, symbols, Gods, the transforming symbol, art and symbolism, psychology, projection, philosophy, psychotherapy, transference, countertransference, the Classical, Archtypal and Developmental Schools.
