The existence of tribes of Israel today.. laughable to say the least

The concept of a tribe was THE DIVISION of Israel's descendants into 12 separate land areas with the descendants of each of those 12 princes being rulers of the population in the specific area allotted to them.

If any Israelite had male ancestors from multiple tribes and descendants of all tribes were mixed into all land areas, the tribe structure could no longer exist.

NO one is a descendant of any one of their ancestors, but they are a composite of every ancestor, they ever had.
=============================

What are the odds that the Israelites did not have male ancestors from multiple tribes.

If a daughter was given to one tribe, wouldn't her husband be part of the tribe of his wife?

I know that the land deal.. passed through the males, but the question I ask is wouldn't all offspring's be a composite of all their ancestors of ALL the tribes they were mingled with?

Judges ... The Israelites had been swapping sons and daughters between tribes for centuries until a big conflict, where the tribe of Benjamine was no longer allowed to play in any reindeer games
After the Benjamites protected a bunch of sodomites who murdered an Israelite's wife, there was a big civil war between them and the other 11 tribes.

The other 11 tribes all agreed they would NO LONGER allow the Benjamites to take their daughters in marriage.
If they "could no longer take swap wives between tribes".. then before that event the Israelites were swapping sons/daughters from one tribe to another.
Judges 21:1 Now the men of Israel had sworn in Mizpeh, saying, There shall not any of us give his daughter unto Benjamin to wife.
Because thousands of Benjamites were murdered in this civil war, they were about to be wiped out and the other tribes could no longer swap daughters with them.
Judges 21:6 And the children of Israel repented them for Benjamin their brother, and said, There is one tribe cut off from Israel this day
Judges 21:7 How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing we have sworn by the Lord that we will not give them of our daughters to wives?
They begin by murdering a bunch of Asians (Jabeshgilead ) and taking their virgin daughters
Judges 21:11 And this is the thing that ye shall do, ye shall utterly destroy every male, and every woman that hath lain by man.
Judges 21:12 And they found among the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead four hundred young virgins, that had known no man by lying with any male: and they brought them unto the camp
After that they went to kidnap a bunch of Asian dancing girls of the Canaanites
Judges 21:21 And see, and, behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in dances, then come ye out of the vineyards, and catch you every man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.
Judges 21:23 And the children of Benjamin did so, and took them wives, according to their number, of them that danced, whom they caught: and they went and returned unto their inheritance, and repaired the cities, and dwelt in them.

Benjamites continue in the wife swaps

1 Samuel 18:20 And Michal Saul's daughter loved David.. Saul of the tribe of Benjamin.. As this account goes Saul told David he could have Michal for 100 foreskins of the Philistines, but David must have been having so much fun he brought back 200 Philistine foreskins.

The point here is, yes the Israelites did swap sons and daughters in marriage between tribes.

And Aaron took him Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab .. Aaron married into the tribe of Judah
... So all of the descendants of Aaron were as much descendants of the tribe of Judah as they were of the tribe of Levi.

Numbers 26:29 Of the sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites: and Machir begat Gilead: of Gilead come the family of the Gileadites.
Ezra 2:61 And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai; which took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite
=============================

Tribes were a division of people who were separated into specific land areas and ruled by leaders who were the specific descendants of one of the specific sons of Israel.

With the Israelites of all tribes living in all land areas
and being descendants of multiple sons of Israel, the possible existence of a tribe is asinine.
