I'm proud to announce JeffersonFamilyTrading, an email list for people who tape, trade, and listen to live recordings of Jefferson Family bands (JF), including: Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, Hot Tuna, and associated individual artists. Discussion of other artists believed to be of interest to JF fans is welcome, but the subject header of your post MUST include [noJF], in respect to the purists.

Since I intend this to be a fairly low volume, highly MUSIC targeted list, posts dealing with politics, religion, health, environment, etc. WILL NOT be tolerated. Please keep discussion of these topics on 2400FULTON, or other lists dealing with these issues. I think you get the message ;-)

For the time being, this will be an unmoderated list, with open membership. If things get out of hand, the rules will change to protect the innocent.
