Janice Yap (born 11/1/2000, Singapore) of MusiKinder ArtSkool has been her aunt's art student since 2003

JUL 2003: awarded a Highly-Commended Cert in the Junior Category of the Singapore's prestigious "22nd UOB Painting of the Year (PoY)" Competition

JY was wholly featured of her special artistic talents in the TR Report on 28/3/2004: Super Kids Series 2 on S'pore MediaCorp TV Channel 8

1st solo exhibition: was held in conjunction with the MusiKinder Concert Op.8: Mozart's Magic Flute on 23/6/2004 @ Jubilee Church Auditorium & 24/6/2004 @ Esplanade Recital Studio. The exhibition (an integral part of the concert) while displaying watercolor paintings on the Mozart's opera characters, drew about 600 viewers who gave her works high acclaim. Postcards made out of these original paintings were on sale for charity purposes

17/7/2004: presented with a Cert of Distinction Award - the only winner (amongst the top 6) below age 17 in the Junior Category of the 23rd UOB PoY 2004. Her winning entry - The Animal's Party (136X136cm) was exhibited @ Explanade's Jendala Studio (18/7-6/8/2004); so charming was it that UOB offered S$1000 for the purchase of it

2nd Solo Exhibition: Noah's Animals (18-26/12/2004) - 90% of her 45 exhibits were sold with proceeds donated to children & Tsunami charities. The highlight - Noah's Ark (120X240X5cm) which was sold, is perhaps the largest painting ever done by a 4-year old in Singapore

May 2005: Janice was the youngest winner representing Singapore at the Slovenia's 10th Jubilee International Competition for the Young

3rd Solo Exhibition: My Europe Tour (6-11/12/2005) was a vivid & colorful pictorial records of her 1st European tour in Slovenia & Venice

4th Solo Exhibtion: On Palette Wings (16-23/12/2006) was a vibrant pictorial records of her 2nd European tour in Paris, Belgium & Holland

11/5/2007 & 1/7/2009: She clinched 2 SYF (ART) Gold awards for CHIJ/OLGC
