This list is mainly devoted to discussion of the novel Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, and the various film, TV and stage adaptations. However discussion is open to anything related, Charlotte's other works such as The Professor, Shirley, or Villette, Emily or Anne Bronte, Bronte poetry or novels such as Wuthering Heights, other literature, Victoriana, anything which comes up. Topics can range from academic to light-hearted... anything which interests you! The list is chatty and friendly while remaining serious about its subject. There are at present almost 500 members - the list is manageable although can be quite heavy traffic if we get going on a discussion, when you will not be disappointed at the momentum generated!
