While the practices have many benefits, like good health, inner peace, and more loving relationships, their ultimate purpose is to lead us to the state of enlightenment, or "moksha." As we practice these techniques, we engage in a process of inner purification. This spiritual cleansing allows the Divinity already present within us to shine forth brilliantly. Once we are rendered free from all impurity, we transcend all egoistic limitations and are graced to merge in the bliss of Atman, the supreme Self.
