Purpose: To provide a support group/community to discuss issues affecting JETs of African descent, and thus promoting unity; i.e. by providing a venue for members to come together regardless of past geographical locations/background, to share experiences and stories. We also strive to ease the transition of new JETs by providing highly useful information and resources, e.g. where to find hair salons and barber shops, how and where to order cosmetics and other products. We also plan social activities for the group; regionally and country-wide. The list also serves as an excellent forum for discussing world issues affecting people those of African descent.

Membership: Membership is open to those that are interested in a support group/community for JETs (Japan Exchange Teachers) of African Descent. Membership in JETS AD is free. We are affliated with The JET Program.
