anime.manga.protoculture.local resources.local events.local people. JAPC!
We are Japanese Anime People of Chicago(JAPC). We are the first original mailing list gathering club, not affiliated with any school club or organization created in October of 2000 for all ages, simply for the purpose of connecting fans of Japanese Animation, the various subcultures, and general Japanese Culture in the local Chicagoland Area.

You must be a resident of Chicago or surrounding suburbs, be able to attend some events or actively participate in the forums to join. We are very open-minded, easygoing individuals, however to keep order, we do have forum posting rules and group guidelines, and we request that you read them before you join.
