Description

This group is for educators and community leaders interested in discussing in an open collaborative environment the best methods of teaching children Hebrew as a spoken language.

It is a free forum for educators and community leaders interested in discussing in an open collaborative environment the best methods of teaching children Hebrew as a spoken language.

The goal is to provide a forum for all types of educators from Synagogue Religious Schools, to Day Schools, to Hebrew High Schools and Emerging Community alternatives such as Havurot and other Ulpan like settings.

The goal is to also include educators in Israel teaching students who have made Aliyah and educators from all over the world.

Topics could cover things like teaching Israeli-Americans Hebrew, pre-school immersion, challenges in succeeding with conversational Hebrew, etc.

Methodologies for teaching adults too are also welcome topics of discussion.

Join to share ideas, lessons learned, curriculum feedback, etc. For pre-school, grade school, and high school Ivrit programs. Lessons learned on programs that have sucessfully graduated students who have passed the SAT II test in the US as well would be great.

Lehishtamea,

Jennie Starr
