Dear Colleagues,

A new issue of Shavings is now posted on our website at
www.oscholars.com. Shavings is published at irregular intervals,
when we have enough material to make it interesting. The counterpart
of this is that we have been overhauling how Shavings is displayed
and organised and will continue to do so. Although we do not wish at
all to duplicate the work so well done by the Shaw Societies, we
believe we can complement it (especially through reviews) and bring
Shavian studies to the wider audience who come to our site (17,000
this month).

We cordially invite contributions, news, corrections and suggestions
from the Shaw community of scholars and enthusiasts, and hope to
increase the number who would like to be on our list for alerts for
new issues. Subscribers may also use our discussion and
announcements forum at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/oscholarship/
and our Noticeboard at
http://www.oscholars.com/Noticeboard/noticeboardhomepage.htm.

I must emphasise that the development of Shavings would be impossible
without the work put into it by Barbara Pfeifer as Associate Editor
and Steven Halliwell as Webmaster; and the information provided by
others of the Editorial group that works for www.oscholars.com.
