Welcome to the IowaOldPress! An IAGenWeb Special Project.

Our primary purpose is to share transcribed articles from 19th and early 20th century Iowa newspapers (pre-1941). This mailing list and group will be of interest to genealogists and Iowa historians alike.

We also invite you to share news articles from other states relating to Iowa for this same time period; or submit articles for Iowa News from Scrapbooks (clippings dated and undated through 1950)

Submitted articles are posted and searchable on our Iowa Old Press website (see link at the bottom of this page).
