WE ARE AN ORGANIZATION OF HOBBYISTS, FOR HOBBYISTS!

This is an effort by Large Scale train enthusiasts to create an organization that will play a supporting role by helping newcomers and by supporting a world-wide organization that's focused on promoting the Large Scale Train Hobby. This site has been created to discuss such efforts and is welcome to all to offer opinions on the creation of this potential organization.

It is also a site to discuss our favorite hobby: Large Scale trains! Feel free to comment.

This site contains the Mission Statement, proposed Bylaws, news updates, chat site, etc.

Currently, the International Society of Large Scale Model Railroaders sponsor's a discussion forum listed at www.MyLargeScale.com. We also have an On-Line Chat scheduled every Thursday at 9:30 PM EST, 8:30 PM CST, 7:30 PM MST 6:30 PM PST. Click on the following link to go to the chat: ISLSMR CHAT. You will need to create a simple user ID/password to chat. This chat site requires no excessive, personal data. A nice, simple chat area!

Our logo was designed by one of the steering committee members and voted on by the group.
