Do you desire to see Christ's Kingdom reign in both your life and the lives of all those in Central Indiana? This group was established with the vision of seeing 24x7 prayer over the Indianapolis metropolitan area and beyond!

Established in 2005 to provide prayer support for Faith, Hope and Love (www.fhlcommunity.org), this group seeks to facilitate unity in the Body through increasing oneness in Christ.

The scriptures say "pray always". This is seemingly impossible if we think of prayer in a traditional sense. But consider Enoch and Elijah who "walked with God" and were taken up with Him to be hidden from this world without dying! Prayer is a walk with God!

Have you considered the great insult of choosing some short-term pleasure over the most wonderful Being in the universe? We are called to embrace Him! While the Body of Christ has many members, each with different specific callings and abilities, we all are called to pray. And as we pray, we are changed, becoming more like Him.

This group is not about "church", but it blesses all churches who raise the name of Christ and encourage a relationship with Him. It is not sponsored by any particular denomination or set of doctrines other than the two most important things: loving God and loving people.

Indy24x7Prayer desires a renewal in Central Indiana, acknowledging that it only happens when His people embrace His Presence, choosing to enjoy Him over the temporary pleasures of this world. Even choosing to enjoy Him over the activities we pursue to please Him.

Applicants are also encouraged to consider fasting. The purpose of a fast is to draw close to God and not to build up oneself. Not everyone is called to fast and not everyone fasts in the same way. But as we pray over Central Indiana, we are going against a spiritual stronghold.
