I am compelled to write to make it absolutely clear to all that I am not associated with, and do not support Richard Figueroa’s proposed Kingdom of Hawaii 2009 National Elections, or 2009 Hawaiian National Elections, or Sovereign Independent Hawaiian Government or whatever name it goes by.
Figueroa and company have been giving people the false impression that I support his agenda, his “election process” and his “constitution.” I definitely and emphatically do not.
In fact, on numerous occasions private and public, I have taken Figueroa and his attorney Ted Lindauer to task over what I consider their faulty, misleading and even destructive plan. Figueroa’s scheme will not produce the result he claims, but will only provide the U.S. with another embarrassing episode to delay true independence for Hawaii.
I urge everyone to reject Figueroa’s sham election. Don’t get involved with him and to make sure he is not using your name to further his own agenda. And to hold him accountable if he misuses your good name. Insist that he tells the truth about what he is actually doing and who really supports him.
