I found after moving here from Ohio that Indiana was almost a virtual wasteland of dog activities compared to my home state, and it shouldn't be! There are 4 times more dog clubs in the state of Ohio as compared with Indiana, they are often within a 30 minute drive, and practice matches or Show N Gos are extremely common. I think we can help this disparity by letting each other know when and where your Show N Go will be held. I encourage the support of dog clubs and their events whether it be obedience, breed ring, herding, earth dog, lure coursing, temperament test, CGC, agility, etc., etc. Perhaps this can even lead to get-togethers and more good dog clubs! We can encourage some group discussion as to location of matches or even sharing of physical sites. Questions are encouraged, with the free exchange of ideas. Be courteous.
