Mr. CP Mathew, Adoor has found a place among the '40 most influential Asians
2011' compiled by the popular Middle East Magazine 'Masals!' alongwith a host of
dignitaries like Dr Azad Moopen,Yusuf Ali,BR Shetty Sunny Varkey and the like.
Mr.CP Mathew Adoor, a very unassuming but extremely empathetic personality is
the Chief Co-ordinator of the non profit social voluntary organisation 'Valley
of Love' founded in 1998 in UAE.
In a country marching forward, there are always people who fall behind, men and
women, who need a helping hand to put them back on their feet. The Valley of
Love does just this.
Begun with a mission to offer assistance and hope to anyone in need,
irrespective of their nationality, caste, creed or religion, Valley of Love is
run by volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to help others in need.
They visit hospitals, prisons, labour camps and worksites to support the
marginalised labourers to fulfill their various diring needs. They help detained
labourers to get back to native homes as well as assist in repatriating the
bodies of the deceased by liasonig with various Government Agencies and
Associations.
A very active member of the Malankara Orthodocx Church, Mr.CP Mathew is
presently the Secretary to the Managing Committee of Sharjah Saint Gregorious
Orthodox Church.
Mr.CP Mathew has earlier received several honours and awards for his dedicated
work among the underprivileged. He needs all our support, good wishes and
wholehearted encouragement and wish Godspeed in all his humanitarian endeavours.
