Ford and Daniel Craig. Alas, Indians went from being partners in the original
graphic novels to sidekicks in the movie.

"Lone Ranger" on the Rocks

Disney slammed the brakes on its "Lone Ranger" remake after the budget soared to
$250 million. That may be a good thing, since the movie's "Native spirituality"
reportedly included werewolves and Wendigos.

Winnetou to Ride Again?

In other Western news, a German group is trying to revive the Winnetou series of
films. Since Winnetou was a stereotypical "big chief" Apache, I hope the remake
will diverge from the source material.
