This is an appeal to the best of you, an appeal to join us in the effort
to : root-out corruption from our lives;
root out violence from our lives and our society;
root out discrimination of all kinds from our lives and our society;

The selfless-sincere effort in this direction started in the sixties and
in 1984 in took the shape of HUMANIST PARTY.

HUMANIST PARTY was launched by the volunteers of Humanist Movement with
the aim of implementing the ideology of Active-Non-Violence and
Non-Discrimination in the society through the field of Politics.
Politics, because it affects our lives to a very large extent.
While Politics decides what & how much we eat drink and breath, and it
takes all crucial decisions for the citizens today, it is today the open
field for the Mafia-Criminals-Corrupt-Violent-Misguided people who have
taken to it and are taking the society every-day in a more and more
violent situation.

There is urgent need to change and this is felt by common people
everywhere.

People are fed-up of the false promises by all shades of such
politicians and have realized that, there is an urgent need of an Honest
- Non violent - Non-discriminatory alternative.

Humanism provides the answer to this situation and Humanist Party rises
from among common citizens of India to give/implement this answer.

Formed in 1984, Humanist Party of India has been participating, though
on a minuscule scale, in various elections across India, learning the
situation, while building its humble structures in various parts of the
country.

In the next phase of its activities, Humanist Party launches itself into
activities on a larger scale with its participation in the Uttar Pradesh
(U.P.) State Assembly elections 2007.

The participation in these elections is with a humble number of 5 to 10
candidates. The participation in the elections in various states from
now onwards will be increased as we will go on forming our structures
across India.

We need to raise a sum of Rs. 1 Lakh for publicity material for these
elections.
We request you to make your contribution with the maximum possible
amount.

We can receive this money by a cheque in the name of THE HUMANIST PARTY
OF INDIA, payable at Delhi and we will send you a receipt for the same.
