In the past two hundred years Indians have settled in various countries around the world. Their uniqueness is expressed in terms of religion, ethnicity as well as region/sect. They have made positive contributions to each culture but few or no efforts have been made to network with Indian counterparts in other countries.

Vision of this group : To unite the Indian Diaspora globally and cherish & protect the Indian identity

The Mission of this list is to : (1) Discuss issues that are relevant to the socio-cultural and economic situation of people of Indian origin (2) Encourage Indians across different countries network with each other (3) Discuss and develop models of assimilation that enable Indians to integrate with their resident mainstream cultures
