For those of us who knew and were touched by Rev. John Laurence, who wish to share their experiences, stories and pictures with people who would like to learn more about his life.

John Laurence's Grand Nephew Andy Rauch in San Diego asked us to pass along the sad message that John passed away in San Diego, California on Friday, January 17, 2003 at 9:45 pm. John was admitted into the hospital 2 days prior. He had just turned 95 years old on January 6, 2003.

While we are all saddened by the loss of our beloved friend and teacher "JL", he has told us many times, that for him this is a time of joyous graduation.

May we all feel the blessings that Reverend John Laurence has showered upon us every day of his life. We know he will continue to be an inspiration to all who think him near, as his love and joy live on and on, in continuous and dedicated service to God.
