RIHD is a nonprofit, all volunteer, statewide organization dedicated in reducing crime & reducing recidivism through activities that promote education for at risk youth; prisoner and former felons self-rehabilitation.
Our mission is to assist disenfranchised people to overcome desolate odds; make a difference in their lives; make aware how concerned citizens can mobilize in their respective communities and be proactive in the legislative process. To ensure that our elected officials are working towards reducing poverty, keeping our communities safer through new and innovative programs. Programs that deter criminal behavior before a crime is ever committed (e.g. year round after-care for our youth; increase prisoner education & rehabilitation; reentry assistance & restoring former felon civil rights). An "Earned" Second Chance!
