Description
This group will discuss Bible Studies that are intended to help give the context of the original reader/hearer so verses can be better understood. A main area is Christian marriage and divorce, with an emphasis on 1st century perspectives. See the powerpoint presentations in the files section. Much of the info in them is from the books and website of David Instone-Brewer. Moderator is Don Johnson.
