Writing lessons: Your choice of The WriteShop program or Foundations to Writing - both multi-year, multi-grade with lesson plans tweaked especially for The Mystery of History Vol 2! Last-but not leas- you will find copywork and/or dictation as well a Bible reading schedule. Grammar options include a homeschool version of The Grammar Punk or scheduled lessons from Winston Grammar and The Blue Book of Grammar.

Science is scheduled using the Christian Kids Explore Earth and Space. This book is appropriate for elementary students or junior high students who do not have a strong science foundation. (Early Learners will enjoy the Illuminatiions additional science activities just for them!)

Parents of early learners (K-2) will also enjoy the bonus "Read Aloud" list just for them - as well as scheduled readings from the Child's Story Bible by Catherine F. Vos.
