Illinois for Warner is associated with Draft Mark Warner and DraftMarkWarner.com, the grassroots effort to urge Virginia Governor Mark Warner to run for President of the United States in 2008.

Democratic Governor Mark Warner embodies the values that are central to most Americans. His remarkable abilities in governing have been demonstrated in a "red" state heavily dominated by Republicans. Governor Warner is one of only five Democratic governors in southern states dominated by Republicans.

Since 1964, every democratic president has been a centrist-moderate. Our political future depends on a centrist that connects with the South & the Heartland of America.

In July, 2004 Governor Warner's colleagues expressed their faith in him across party lines by naming him Chairman of the National Governors Association. In 2004, Governing Magazine named him a Public Official of the Year.

With your help, we can encourage Governor Mark Warner to run for President in 2008 by networking, volunteering, contributing, and laying a grassroots foundation for reclaiming the party's future.
