IllinoisJaycees : Message: Are you interested in joining the Training Task Force?

Dear Fellow Illinois Jaycee:

I would like to extend to you a very special invitation. The Illinois Jaycees are going to make a big impact this year, and one of the ways that we are going to invest heavily in our current members and give prospects a reason to join is our enhanced and exciting training programs.

These new training programs feature:

Education straight from corporate America
Dozens of training modules that we�ve never had access to before
Experienced, enthusiastic trainers available to come to your chapter
Specific programs to meet the needs of your members
The highest quality programs that will bring prospects to come to your training events

I�m Peter Waitzman, a member of the GLMV Jaycees, and this year�s Training and Individual Development Chair. We have been already begun putting together a talented and motivated team of Jaycees that are going to help each chapter return to our core as a leadership development organization. You�re not in this alone. We are going to show you what training is available, find out which trainings would help address your own chapter�s needs, and then help you put together the training and even bring in trainers for you.

What these trainings will do for your chapter:

Develop skills within your members to help advance their careers

Allow your members to share lessons with others
Create sought-after events for prospects (particularly people who have been unemployed, are looking for career advancement, or are going through various life events)

Training events will bring lots of value with very little effort on your part

They will make an impact both on your members and for your communities

This is where I want to extend you an invitation. If you�re interested in making a huge impact at your chapter or in your area, I would like you to join our Training Task Force. If you�re interested in improving your own skills and helping others, then this is the right place for you. Our mission is simple, we want to empower Jaycees to be stronger leaders and generous in their communities. This task force will give every Jaycee the opportunity to fuel that engine of personal and community improvement.

What we are looking for in Training Task Force Members:

Do you believe in constant personal improvement?
Do you have a desire to help others and share your knowledge?
Would you like to take on new leadership roles at the chapter level and higher?
Do you have ideas for training that you�d like to develop and share?
Do you want to lead training?
Do you want to grow your membership by providing valuable services to your community?

If you said, �yes,� then I�d like to have you join our team. This is a special opportunity to not only help the Jaycees but also help our communities while having a lot of fun. All I ask is that you come with an open mind, a generous spirit, and enthusiasm, and we�ll make it a great 2012!
