Ilkley Freecycle Cafe is an inclusive discussion forum for Freecycle members and anyone else in Ilkley and the surrounding area who would like to take practical steps - small or large - to make their lifestyle or their business more sustainable. You don't have to consider yourself a committed "green" or "environmentalist" to take part. The aim is to link up all those individuals and groups locally who have an interest - any interest - in the environment, to swap ideas on a greener lifestyle. The guiding principle is that everyone can take some steps to become more sustainable. The main "rule" is "no criticising others for not being as green as you".

Whether you travel by bicycle or 4x4, whether your babies wear disposable nappies or reusable ones, whether you grow organic vegetables or sell airline tickets, you are very welcome here.
