Welcome to Idylwood_Community_Exchange (I.C.E), also known as "The Exchange". We ARE a "Moderated Group".

"The Exchange" was formed in December 2007 to complement and as an alternative to it's sister group, "Idylwood_Neighbors". Our members are mostly Idylwood residents, but not entirely.

This group is a place to exchange information regarding neighborhood, city, and other related issues, AND a place where we can express our opinions openly and freely.
A certain level of civility is expected from group members, but we don't have "Official Rules" on WHAT you can say, or HOW you can say it. We have two assigned Group Moderators, but members are asked to use reasonable judgment in moderating themselves. We are all adults, and each of us is responsible for the content and the consequences of what each of us chooses to post.
There is ONE EXCEPTION. No sexual content whatsoever, PLEASE!
The internet is way overstocked with sites of this nature, we don't need one more.


Residents of Houston and Idylwood, come from many different places and backgrounds. We are of different ages, colors, religions, languages, and political inclinations. Every one of us brings with us our own unique set of experiences, that make us the individuals we are. Despite all of our differences, I believe we share a common interest for this wonderful place we love, and live in, called Idylwood.
