Hi there,
My name is Johnny Clarke and I've been collecting Tammy since December 2004.

I thought it would be a great idea to start a group for people like myself who are beginers and don't really know that much about Tammy.

I'm learning all the time, and now have a couple of books as well as a nice little collection of Tammy's and outfits.

The aim of 'I love Tammy' is to help beginers to find their feet and identify Tammy's, and outfits, we'll all be learning together, which will be great fun, all input will be gladly recieved by me, and group members, remember,it's a group, feel free to join in on all aspects of Tammy collecting.

I hope that this group will also attract more experienced collectors who can then guide us as well, I've had wonderful guidance from a couple of experienced collectors, and I'm sure they would love to help out when needed.

If you have a yahoo photo album of your Tammy's etc, please feel free to pop a link to it in the links section. It would also be great if members posted a photo of themselves in the photo section under 'Faces to Names'..so we can all put faces to names, but this is of course, not compulsory.There are also a list of sites you may find interesting or usefull in the links section.

I would like this group to be as informal and uncompetetive as possible, friendly and 'safe' for all to feel they can join in and laugh and learn together..other non Tammy topics are allowed also(that way we get to really know each other, which is important in a group I think)..BUT.remember, it's a group about dolls,so keep that in mind with your topics ok..also, always remember to put OT before posting a topic that isn't Tammy related, so those that don't want to read Other Topics, can simply deleat ok.
