We are a U.S. Military Distinctive Faith Open Circle Group in Iraq, sponsored by Sacred Well Congregation.
Due to troop rotations, we are currently without a DFGL, (Distinctive Faith Group Leader), or members on base. If you are deployed to the International Zone, Iraq, interested in becoming the DFGL, and getting the group going again; please contact either of the people listed below. Thank you.

OUR PURPOSE: is to gather together to provide spiritual support, friendship, learning, and ritual observances for our Pagans deployed to the IZ. As an Open Circle, our gatherings are open to anyone.
OUR RELIGIONS: are nature religions which see the divine in all things. Paganism is a mystery (or experiential) religion with little or no central dogma. Pagans do not believe in the divine; they experience the divine (often initially with a teacher’s help) resulting in, “beliefs,” formed by their experiences. Some beliefs common to most Pagans include: (1) since the divine is immanent (i.e. present in everything); altering one’s consciousness, enables connecting with and influencing other physical things on a spiritual plane; (2) the divine manifests itself equally in a transcendent God and Goddess; (3) a cycle of life: birth, growth, maturation, death, and then rebirth; (4) a freedom to act so long as it doesn’t harm ourselves or others (5) all actions have consequences (for good or ill) that return to the actor. Paganism includes Wicca, Druidism, Asatru, Taoism, Shamanism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jewish and Christian Mysticism, among other religions.
