The Illinois Mod Squad is a support group for
Freecycle™ group moderators in Illinois.

Our primary purpose is to help new Freecycle™ moderators get started on the right foot, and for all Illinois Freecycle moderators to have a safe, positive place to share their experiences, tips, locally-based problems, and stay current on established guidelines of the Freecycle Network™; together fostering a common goal of making a genuine difference in our respective local communities through this thing we know as Freecycle.

NOTE: Decisions that will or may affect the entire Freecycle Network are not decided at the state level. Freecycle moderators wishing to have an opportunity to be part of any such decisions will want to also join the international ModSquad and the Organization Issues Discussion Group (aka "OIDG").
