111 New Messages - 1 New File

Description

This list is for teachers and homeschooling families who are interested in learning more about the Institute for Excellence in Writing and who are looking for support using IEW materials. It is open to anyone who wants to learn how to teach their children to write. Although this group is moderated, members are encouraged to share their insights to teaching writing.

This list not only contains years of writing questions and answers, but also a wealth of teacher helps which have been organized in the files. Our rules are simple: be honorable in posting, keep on topic (IEW writing and related questions, check with the moderator before posting if you are not sure). This list is NOT for the buying and selling of used materials, but we have a sister list for that. Information on how to join will be in your welcome letter.

Upon joining you will be able to immediately view the messages and files, but your responses will be modified until you send in an introduction.

This is a very active group! When you join, you are automatically placed on "individual emails", but you can switch it to a daily digest or special notices only. Instructions to do that are in the Welcome letter.

You may also want to create a folder and have all your IEW families emails go directly there. It will make it easier to scan the messages and read only those that interest you. Although it is busy, you will get a wealth of teaching compositiion instruction from this group.

Thanks for looking!
