Welcome all to the new found Hwa Chong Connection!

From Sep 2001 onwards, this site will be co-linked with the official Alumni Group at Hwa Chong, to bring you the latest news at college & beyond. Despite Hwa Chong JC has her name changed to Hwa Chong Institution(Huaqiao zhongxue), [a decision made on the 31 July 2004 to commence the new college name on the 1.1.05] rest assured our college spirit will forever be a lasting one! This list is for fellow Hwa Chongians to gather and interact in virtual space. It welcomes ex-staff of Hwa Chong as well as new Hwa Chong Institution students as well.

Hwa Chong has had an eventful history since its inception in 1974.Though a short school history, Hwa Chong has shown her strength in her adaptation to the changing circumstances typically in 1987 when the old Bukit Timah campus was announced defective and the next 4 years in Bukit Batok were about proving who we were (and still are)in the event of difficulties.

HC has proudly maintained her standards in extra curricular activities & academic strengths to be the top college in the country. We've thought it is precious to keep this unique Hwa Chong bond and hope through this list, we're able to foster existing links amongst Hwa Chongians & keep in touch with one another.
