Just wondering...would anyone here have generator that one of the list members could borrow until they get the electricity turned on?

We're starting to do piece meal solar and use mostly gas so we don't have one ourselves (got tired of black/brown outs when the weather was clear).

Liz is the person who needed the computer. She's busy moving right now so can wait a little bit at least :) She's still able to check in on here so you can probably send her a quick email and work stuff out once she's a little more settled again.

battery and doesn't do anything but provide the electric to make the

it was the house computer that had the virus, my computer in my room was the one with out the supply so if i move the power supply from the infected computer to my dead one it should work right?

that was me about the power supply I've called 3 times left a message once. I found that the old power supply in my computer was a 400w and not capable of handeling all the modifications the old owner had done. is your power supply more than a 400w?

Yeah, Hastings was doing a mass interview for seasonal staff when I got there about 5 or so. They took over most of the big tables for it.

I was there really early (around 5-6) and so if anyone was there about then you might have seen me.I was in a grey hoody reading homesteading books and an ADHD for dummies book (so maybe I can understand our oldest better). My sister caught up with me and we ended up talking in her car though. She's due with her first baby the beginning of January and she's been having some issues this past week that she wanted to talk about. I lost track of time and didn't duck my head back in until long after 7.

I don't know if anyone here might be interested, but thought I'd post it up just in case. The Unitarian church in Huntsville has been meeting the second and 4th Sunday of every month at Laura Chapel over at the hospital for brunch at 10AM.It looks like November may be the last month that they'll be meeting there though. Hopefully this Dec. they may be able to start meeting in thier own building over near McCoy's just off of 75 going south.Unitarians are usually very welcoming of people from all paths (including pagans...such as CUUPS) and the new site will allow them to offer more space for families and community.

Anyhow...if anyone's interested stop by and take a look at the new place going up if you get the chance.

I thought I'd post this here since I know a few people here could possibly use some of this stuff maybe. I may have more to post as we finally get the chance to go through things here. We're having to get rid of a bunch of stuff as we clean and rebuild/renovate things. Here's a list to start with though.Anyone wanting any of the big stuff would need a truck to move it and would have to come haul it out.

1 upright freezer. This is a deep freeze type freezer. Works just fine. Has a couple of scratches and a small dent. Nothing huge and it works just fine. We haven't had it plugged in for a couple of years though and have no room for it.

1 white microwave cart. It's been in storage out in a shed for awhile. It's in ok shape as far as I know, but probably has a little damage to the top. Be good for setting a tv or something on to hide that or possibly for use in a workshop or something.

2 steel pipe with wood look shelf Eddie Bauer shelving units. These aren't that big...mostly tall. They are about 5' tall. I've tried them in lots f different places around our house and they just don't fit in with us. I've had them in our twins room and now our twins have learned to climb up on hem so it's a safety thing.Good for books or baskets holding stuff. Have a kind of modern look due to the metal pipe uprights on the shelves.

Steve and I have talked about this next one. This is the only thing not free. We have a huge TV that we paid about $600 for. It works just fine and is in very good condition, but we are needing extra space so are looking at getting a flat screen tv we can hang up instead. The TV we already have is a pretty big one so better suited to a living room or something. We're asking about $250 for it.

I'm fairly sure there will be more, but thought I'd put this up here first. If I don't hear anything in a couple of weeks I'll be posting this to someplace like Freecycle.

Ahh...ok. Well, not sure if Steve could've gotten a ride back home anyhow. We might just bring them to a thing in Navasota on Thursday instead and do something here for everyone halloween night..

Oh..and for anyone interested there's a druid grove that's planning a Samhain campout at the state park about then. I'll put up details when I get them.

lizzie's mom had the change the plans for her birthday. since her mom has to work that friday there wont be time to set up for the party so while we are at ren fest on halloween she wants to set up and we celebrate her bday halloween night, sorry I wont be able to help you out with the kiddos :(

It seems that Swine flu is running rampant at the college. My sister knows of about a little over a dozen confirmed cases of swine flu in just the music department alone and I've heard of quite a few other cases round the college. I do think that they should be a little more lenient about the 3 day absent rule if the student can bring in proof from a Dr. that it's swine flu. I tend to think that 3 days is a bit extreme during flu season anyhow. No one gets sick for only 3 days...

Brian and I went out to see some folks out at the state park today and found out that there is a druid grove that will be doing a celebration at the state park for Samhain. Not sure of the details yet, but I'll post them up once I get the details from her. Brian's wanting us to try to get out to Scare on the Square.Not sure how that's going to work. Depends on if Steve's car decides it's going to work then or not...or if he can get a ride home that night.

I need to let a few others know about the Samhain thing you're planning so they can come out. I also need to get to actually planning a meeting place and time for those interested in Spiral Scouts up here so we can nail down all the details and sign up those who haven't had the chance yet.So much to do and so little brain to do it with..lol!

I was going to call you in just a few minutes to let you know i got called in last minute for work today XD The teacher i'm subing for got the same virus i just had. Also my best friend Hannah was diagnosed with swine flu :( she's locked up at home resting but bored out of her mind lol. My fever is trying to come back but so far Its only been up to a 99 last night.

We've been going ever year as close to the 1st of November as possible to celebrate Lizzie's birthday. Renn Fest has become our tradition. But she told me earlier this week that next year we aren't planning her party/celebration early because she wants to go to the beach house now but its too late to change plans XD lol since we already bought our tickets and i've sewed most of the costumes :P

I need to go post for the group a correction on the address, its apartment 112 not 111. Andie's doors will be open most of the day i'm think about starting up at 9 am and our friend Brandi wants to come but wont get out of work till 6pm so it'll be 9am-7pm at least, very open and relaxed. Anyone can bring any craft work they want to do and there's a stove if anyone wants to bring recipies and ingrediants, or if they'd like to bring stuff to make soaps/candles with. It looks like it will be a mostly socializing day with no agenda written in stone other than just making stuff for Samhain.

I don't have a chance this week to get to the bank to cash my pay check so i'll most likely cash it at wal-mart and pick up some of the masks there and bring my bins, tubs, and suit cases of craft supplies lol. Beading stuff, feather, embroiary threads, you know all the odds and ends lol.
